This interactive webinar introduces a responsible research workflow for using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support research questioning, source navigation, synthesis, drafting, and reflection. The session positions AI as a research partner, not as an author, authority, or replacement for the researcher. It foregrounds academic integrity, disclosure, human accountability, source verification, Indigenous Knowledge Systems (IKS) responsibility, and Khimian Design Logic (KDL) as an applied research workflow.
Participants will explore African AI questions of data, language, sovereignty, local relevance, and uneven access, while learning how IKS should be treated as a knowledge system rather than decorative content. The webinar includes a practical demonstration and a final Ma’at check for reviewing AI-supported research outputs before use, submission, or sharing.
