Miss Nosisekelo Gabela is the Finance Administrator in the University Capacity Development Programme (UCDP) office at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). She joined UKZN in May 2019 as an Administrative Officer and, through dedication and professional growth, was later appointed to her current role.

In her capacity as Finance Administrator, Miss Gabela is responsible for the financial management of several key institutional development projects, including Postgraduate Student Development, Staff Credentialing Emerging Academics, and Strengthening Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL) Capacity at UKZN. Her work supports the strategic advancement of academic excellence and capacity building within the institution.

Miss Gabela recently completed her Master of Commerce at UKZN, adding to her academic portfolio that includes a Bachelor’s degree and Postgraduate qualifications. Committed to continuous professional development, she has further enhanced her expertise through training in Practical Labour Law, Report Writing, Change Management and Monitoring and Evaluation.

Her strong administrative background, combined with her financial insight and commitment to education, make her a valuable contributor to the success of the UCDP and the broader university community.
