Ms Thinasonke Mbhele is a Finance Administrator in the Teaching and Learning Office, where she is responsible for the financial administration and project implementation of the University Capacity Development Programme (UCDP). Prior to joining UTLO, she gained experience in the public sector and later transitioned into the higher education sector, serving as a Tutor and Academic Development Officer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and an Honours degree in Public Administration from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, as well as a Bachelor of Administration from the University of Zululand. As part of her ongoing professional development, she has completed several training courses in Facilitation, Accounting, Monitoring and Evaluation, Report writing, Effective communication, and, more recently, Labour Law.
