Design Sprint 1: Aligning Learning Objectives and Context

18 March | 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Facilitator(s): Instructional Learning Designers
Mode: Physical Event
Venue: K-rith Tower Building, Susser & Stein, Medical School

You are invited to participate in Design Sprint 1 of the Digital Curriculum Transformation (DCT) initiative. This interactive session will focus on aligning module learning objectives with the context in which the module is taught. During the sprint, participants will work collaboratively to explore how factors such as class size, delivery mode, student profile, and teaching approach influence the design of meaningful and achievable learning objectives.

Through guided activities and discussion, academics will reflect on their current module learning objectives and examine how these can be
strengthened to better support student learning and engagement. The session will include hands-on activities, peer discussion, and practical design exercises, allowing participants to review and refine their own module learning objectives in a supportive environment.

By the end of the sprint, participants will leave with a refined set of learning objectives that are clearly aligned with the
context of their module.
